In his own words, “‘(Find Your) Happy Place’ was composed out of my desire to give people something positive and uplifting to listen to during these challenging times. The choice of Mindi Abair as featured guest artist on the tune was easy because of our shared history. I believe it was destiny when I happened by as she was performing on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA more than 25 years ago. It led to me hiring her to play sax in my band. After 3 years of traveling the world with me she felt she was ready to leave and pursue her own solo career. She has since evolved into the exciting dynamic performer we know and love today. So, look at “(Find Your) Happy Place” as a full circle moment for the Bobby Lyle/Mindi Abair collaboration!”
