“Nós e o Mar“ brings together Roberto Menescal, Diogo Monzo, and Ricardo Bacelar for an album celebrating the 85 years of the bossa nova master and features the participation of Leila Pinheiro. Conceived by Roberto Menescal, Diogo Monzo, and Ricardo Bacelar, the album “We and the Sea” will be available on streaming platforms on July 14th. With the special participation of Leila Pinheiro, invited by the trio in the version of “Bye Bye Brazil” (Menescal/Chico Buarque), the album celebrates Roberto Menescal’s 85th birthday, focusing on instrumental versions of collaborations between the bossa nova master and Ronaldo Bôscoli. Adding to Roberto Menescal and his unmistakable guitar, there’s the pianist Diogo Monzo (piano and keyboards) and the multi-instrumentalist Ricardo Bacelar (piano, keyboards, and percussion), who also take turns in arranging.
