Belton Mouras Jr. was born in Lodi California and began studying classical piano at age five through his mother’s musical influences. He was performing concertos in his mid-teens and crossed over to jazz and jazz fusion in his twenties. In the late 90’s he produced his first CD of original piano compositions, “Belton”. Inspired over the past decade creating many short film stories and musical film compositions, he has developed his record label Belton Mouras Entertainment. Belton has written, directed, and composed the music for his latest independent short film “Mickey’s Tree” released in June 2022. The film debuted in the 2022 Palm Springs International Short Fest and is available on Amazon Prime. Belton was nominated as one of the Break-Out Artists of the year in 2022 from the Smooth Jazz Network.
