Pat Petrillo – "48th St" ft. Nile Rodgers – Autumn Hill

The new single from the Pat Petrillo Big Rhythm Band “48th Street” is a funky, 70’s inspired groove track that is an homage to the street in Music Row in New York City that was “the musicians hang” back in the day. Featuring special guest and guitar legend Nile Rodgers and his signature rhythm guitar, Pat and Nile take us on a journey around town, carving up infectious grooves and memorable hooks. Also appearing on the track is SNL tenor sax man, Lenny Pickett, who lays down a soulful solo. All in all, this track JAMS, and while it’s not “standard faire” smooth jazz, fans of groove music will dig it and programmers will find it refreshing in the world of contemporary jazz music.
